"DOGE has planned for the Trump administration to trim staff from dozens of offices across the executive branch, including those that protect employees’ civil rights and others that investigate complaints of employment discrimination in the federal workplace." www.washingtonpost.com/nation/2025/...

Our team reviewed the entire DOGE website. Nothing they have identified constitutes evidence of fraud or corruption—both of which are crimes. Feel free to audit us. The funds were allotted by Congress, and OIGs regularly reviewed expenditures for fraud.

This comment on r/fednews really stood out to me. Trump and Musk want people to think they're firing do-nothing "bureaucrats," but they're really getting rid of people dedicated to serving this country and keeping it operational. I hope these stories get told.

Cannot get enough of this beautiful photo, taken this past Sunday while snowboarding. Enjoy!

Earlier this evening I walked over to my neighborhood's public library for a free composting class where I learned useful information about programs and needs; in 10 minutes, I'm attending a class intended to teach veterans how to address Congress; tomorrow evening, heading over to another cozy 🧵

There is a hole in my heart where decades' worth of research used to be. The Republican administration aims to prohibit acknowledgment that racism, stereotypes and bias exist; to burn the pathways to healing. It's on us individually to carry on a legacy of community; of asking the right questions; 🧵

The irony with this entire Gulf renaming is that no surrounding neighbors recognize it. The argument in support of is almost like... changing a name should be respected... Hashtag trans rights! We made it to the same page, folks. Big hug.

Happy BLACK History Month. I read Black books every month but I got two stacks for y'all. First stack is books by Black authors I loved and the second are the ones I’m getting to. #booksky

Happy Imbolc! 🕯️🖤 Otherwise known as the mark between the Winter Solstice and the Vernal Equinox. IOW, our Yule decorations are finally coming down today XD

This morning I registered for both a free composting class and a silent reading party at my local public library. 🦾 I’ve been composting since 2020, but it’ll be nice to formally learn about all the ways we can divert food scraps from landfills in my city and take action against climate change.

Switched from GoodReads (owned by Bezos) to StoryGraph as well! Founded by Nadia Odunayo, StoryGraph allows GoodReads library import so you lose nothing and offers neat customization options, more granular book rating and…GRAPHS!

• Get a library card • Use your library card • Support indie booksellers • Read banned books • Read diverse authors • Resist • Repeat #booksky #resist

In December, I registered for the Public Library of my area. Last week, after getting my card, I attended a silent reading party. Made connections, got recs. Loved.

Despite the years’ worth of stored and saved memories, what I envision when opening Meta platforms is the shit eating grins of their owner at the inauguration. Feels time to move on and make anew. BlueSky is giving old school Twitter and I like it. Hi 🌌⚙️🖤
