But if you REALLY want to clean everything (including the spots of rust), you're better using some "white cleaning stone". In France we have the "Pierre d'argent" which is exactly that, I don't know if you have anything similar where you live, but it is the best for that scenario (and even copper).

Alright, usually just using some dishwashing liquid should be enough, but unless you're 100% sure it has been treated, do NOT use a dishcloth to dry it. The latter will become black and it will be really hard to undo that. Use instead some paper towels for that.

Oops, my bad, I got confused. I can't wait for the game to come out. I would love to apply but my voice ain't the clearest, my accent can be hard to understand and I don't have a professional recording set-up for that.
