Loved them from afar as a child
but
From the very first time I saw newly-hatched Hawksbills going to the sea
From the very first time I saw a Snapping Turtle digging the nest & then laying a clutch at the edge of my porch
I was Hooked 🐢

Absolutely gorgeous! Chahoua are *so* ridiculously cute, aren't they? Well, right up until when they finger paint their food all over their enclosure. Or take a dump in their food bowl...again. *sigh*
