I wondered if that was artificial because it looks so neat, but then zoomed in and can see it’s growing over the fascia in places. That would be a nightmare to keep in check.

Didn’t make it inside unfortunately as it’s not the boy’s sort of thing, but we enjoyed the Castle Museum and the Railway Museum. It was insanely busy though.

I think I heard Julian mention ‘seeing to the dogs’ during the Post Mortem. I’m not sure if these were his pets that lived with him, but if they were did they exhibit any unusual behaviour in response to the presence in house?

Ah, I remember going to our Baker’s Oven cafe with my parents when I was little. This was before lattes, cappuccinos etc were a thing and I have a distinct memory of them ordering ‘milky coffees’, probably because I tried one once and thought it was disgusting!

I recognised it from the BBC’s Ghost Stories for Christmas adaptation of MR James’s The Treasure of Abbot Thomas, but I’m sure it will have been used in other productions too.
