Sounds a lovely project, but I wish NHLF would stop supporting shockingly low salaries for archivists. There are valid questions, I think, regarding their influence on stagnating salaries in the UK sector.

Arts Council England has backtracked on plans to overhaul National Lottery Project Grants from April, promising to conduct further consultation with the sector ahead of bringing in changes from September. 👉 www.thestage.co.uk/news/ace...

If you work at an RLUK institution,* I really recommend this. I've been a fellow and mentored others, and I reckon it can help focus your development whatever career stage you're at. Or just pursue a nagging interest, if it takes you so. *or TNA, come to that

Last week we were closed to the public for our annual Collections Development Week. Closing allows us a bit of time to catch up with lots of important jobs like cataloguing and cleaning. We thought we’d let you know what we’ve managed to achieve (we're quite proud of ourselves!!). 🧵 1/8
