I've seen this a few times, and every time I've read it as trans instead of trains as well. 😅

Ooooh, that's why my dog started barking! 🤣

I think the word you're looking for is androgynous. Someone that is non-binary is not necessarily androgynous, and vice versa. I think if you look at MB's design from the perspective of "designed by Company to look how they think a SecUnit should look," then its appearance makes more sense. 🤷

The curse of "May you live in interesting times" bites again.

I wish international folks would understand that it's not that they are not happening. It's that they are not being shown them. Important difference.

You do realize that's ridiculously low for a recently inaugurated president, right? Biden managed 57%. Inauguration approval ratings are generally the high point.

The whole "We're not doing this" thing is wild to me like... if you can't handle the possibility that a musician you like was a trans woman, then that's a you problem, buddy. Muting is free. This desire to shut down discussion like they have the ability or right to do that is so ridiculous. 🤡 shit.

Good for you, we know it sucks here. Did you pick up some lemon and salt to rub in the wound while you were at the pharmacy? Or did you just make sure you were full up on condescension for folks who are stuck in the middle of this bullshit.

For fuck's sake.

As opposed to providing the perfect excuse to mass arrest protesters? Their playbook is not that deep.

Tbh that is just as funny as if it was intentional. Like no, that's just god pissed off at ice, go arrest him. 😂

Tbh if there was the slightest hint of foul play that seems like it would make it even more likely Newsweek would be leading with that. It's not like they have a reason not to point fingers at "leftist terrorists." At this point I'm sure Trump is looking for an excuse.

Thanks for the raid, it was great having you! I'll have to at the very least try and poke my head in for one of your Nikki streams.

Has he considered not using it as his work truck? Like, that seems like the simplest thing to do. But I guess getting advertising from being a whiny manbaby is better? 🤡

I think anyone who has never actually worked in a creative field doesn't really understand that ideas are a dime a dozen (and even then you're overpaying.) What matters is what it takes to make that idea into something.

That's always how it is "Well for *me* it's different, *I* had a legitimate reason, not like those [insert group here]!" Or maybe it's that you know the reason for your situation, but you just assume the worst of a group you hate.

A general strike with a population that is mostly living paycheck to paycheck? Are you going to donate to a strike fund to keep those folks afloat? Strikes and protests take energy and organizing to keep afloat, you can't just go "Okay everyone, we're striking tomorrow!" And expect it to work.

Shame on you @ossoff.bsky.social to think I thought I could count on you and Warnock to do the right thing. Absolutely disgraceful.

Sure that everyone at the table is in agreement on what story you're there to play, the tone and the themes, makes for a much better experience, and means that the *players* retain agency, even if the characters don't. 2/2

Absolutely, and in some cases, they're able to do things about an issue *because* they're not broadcasting everything to anyone that might be watching online. Not everything has to be, or even should be, posted about.

I really doubt that's what they meant though. Because you know they mean moving more toward whatever their idea of "between Democrats and Republicans" is. 🙄
comment in response to post
Ah yes, the well known Consevative Democrat. They can get together with Liberal Republicans and form the most milquetoast, useless political party ever.

The poll was also done between January 21-27, so before a lot of the DOGE bullshit got going. Wonder what they'd say now. And yeah, I'm reading that as over half of Dems wanting a *less* moderate party. We need a more moderate Dem party about as much as we need Elon and DOGE. 🙃🙄 (We don't.)

Heartbroken and enraged by this story, especially the county DA that seems to think his office can't ever make a mistake. It all sounds like lip service to justice so they can look progressive while covering their own asses. And then they wonder why people don't have faith in the justice system.
