You evidently just really wanna argue, so Iāll let you continue to do it with yourself, bless your heart.

If one side is presented, so should the other side. It canāt be a policy only for those things you support. At least if both sides are presented, people can choose which side they believe. As we are today, the FOX news watchers only hear one (crazy) side.

This not about limiting free speech - itās about requiring both sides to be presented. Youāre free to defend the right to lie & spread the propaganda that has resulted todayās political climate. However, it is clear to me that only a requirement that both sides be presented will solve ignorance.

I know what the fairness doctrine required. I also know its limitations. The main point is we need either it, updated for todayās broadcast circumstances, or a policy like it, to require the presenting of both sides.

Iām not sure why you are making this an argument, but Iāll bow to your superior knowledge. š
My point is, we need to bring back a policy that would require broadcast news stations (cable, too!) to present both sides. If propaganda is presented, counter-propaganda would also have to be.

On the contrary, the reporting of controversial issues by licensed broadcast news stations is exactly what that policy regulated.

The fairness doctrine was a policy that required the holders of broadcast licenses to present controversial issues of public importance in a manner that fairly reflected differing viewpoints. In 1987 it was abolished under the Reagan administration. Today it would prevent broadcasting only lies.

It wonāt change until we bring back the fairness doctrine in television news reporting that Ronald Reagan got rid of decades ago. As long as FOX, OANN, and other red stations can call themselves ānewsā while reporting lies, the delusions among the ignorant will continue, and grow.

Fox (faux) news, OANN, and all the other sources in their hateful, bigoted, false reality bubble.

Voting is definitely still our power, but the objective of the crime boss & his minions is to flood the atmosphere with so much BS that folk feel hopeless and donāt exercise it.

And even though I may feel that way, the sad reality is it is not just them who get hurt by their chosen ignorance - it is all of us.

So sad how that this red affliction causes so many others to be negatively affected. Lord, have mercy.

Iām not a conspiracy theorist, but I do believe this election was tampered with, primarily because Trump was telling his supporters in September that they didnāt need to vote; that he already had enough votes. How would he have known that unless there was some monkey business going on?

Evidently, the majority of American people wanted our country destroyed, because don showed us what a crooked disaster he is during his last term, and in November they asked for more of that rather than electing a woman of integrity who would have āworked to advance American idealsā.

Trump controls all three branches of government. The checks and balances set up by our constitution are currently invalid because many American people donāt understand how our government works so they believed all the BS fed to them by the Republicans, and gave this criminal this power.
