I used to be good at computer games, but they changed what "good at computer games" was, now what I am is "below average at computer games", and "good at computer games" is challenging and unattainable to me. It'll happen to you!

I assumed he was a cyborg, so his human flesh portions may succumb to bloodborne infections. If his exposed "skin" areas are synthetic, or if he had genetically modified meat bits, or sophisticated internal nanobots, he may also be able to resist biological viral attacks.

Post the same actor in two roles that show their range

Pro: getting to do this sweet party trick Con: Having to reapply the living tissue to the metal bones again the reset the arm for the trick (totally worth it)

You may be tempted to acquire a blazer with white trim on the lapels. Only consider it if you're willing to have adventures and punch ups at short notice

I agree with you, and these guys. I've been contemplating getting a super-wide pizza box for my scooter so I can deliver 20" pizzas to myself.

Gameboy for Zelda LA N64 for Mario 64 (anticipating Goldeneye and Zelda OoT, and there wasn't much to choose from at the start) PS2 for GTA III Wii for DKC Returns Switch 1 for Mario Kart 8 Switch 2 for Mario Kart World I did admittedly acquire other titles for each of these machines later.

My relationship with the goron race has been forever tainted by the expensive giant sword that breaks super quick due to the inferior craftsmanship of the mountainside goron. I think of the betrayal every time I meet a new goron, even though I know it's not their fault.
comment in response to post
I would always chuckle at the gorons and be like "more like the morons!", but then remember that they just roll around all day and have a bit of a dance, so perhaps the moron is me and everyone who doesn't do that.

In DKC Returns I spent close to 100 lives doing the "ride a barrel away from the fat bat" level, it nearly broke me. I'm glad I made no such arrangement to get fit at the same time

Your fellow racers are a bit more devious in the 150cc, I've been chasing the 3 πŸŽ– cups since tackling the 100cc and it seems to involve a fair bit of luck with the skill. I had a perfect run snatched away yesterday at the last second by some jerk with an unfair amount of red shells. Still fun tho!

What's a poster you had up in your room growing up? The local video shop sold old film posters for 10p each, so me and my siblings would decorate our walls with films we'd never seen. I still haven't seen either of these, decades later.

Even Norm and Cliff? Would you end Frasier without a hesitation, before he had a chance to move to Seattle and look after his dad?

Mine too, I also appreciate "monorail", and when young Patty and Selma are explaining to Marge why she can't be an Astronaut.

Hmmm... I am guilty of 19 of these, it would be 20 if you count the boombox on the shoulder in private with friends for a laugh.

If it's too good to be true, it always is. Be cautious of incoming emails (from anyone at all), but uninvited offers to make you rich should be treated as particularly suspicious. If you want to use that app as a selling platform, I'd suggest going in through the front door channels via the app/site

I bought a screen protector but couldn't understand how to apply it (even though I've done loads before) and it got smushed, so I'm also playing the reckless game.

I'm just hoping that the skin for metal mario eventually reveals itself, my fav from mk8. Also, if I'm being greedy, I'd welcome an extra 8 cups on top of the existing 8, like what they did with mk8. Cos it's brilliant and I just want more.

I need to have a think about this one, Boo Cinema is definitely a contender, but I love the new Rainbow Rd, and Wario Stadium is great fun with its tight corners.

I want to be able to buy the ost in full, I adore bombastic live covers of tracks that I know so well. Spotting where each is from is fun for me, and my wife rolling her eyes going "that's great, Sam." when I tell her this one is from SMB3 (1-7), or SMB2 end credits, or SMB2 character select screen.

I misread it as "a real fan always speaks ill of..." and I was like OF WHAT? But then it made sense. Made me think of this tho

I expect that they made the artistic decision that the aspect ratio could not be more generous than that for the width. Some games do that due to limitations of the source material (like preserving 4:3 for older titles) but at least they show some artwork in the blank areas.

The Dead Zone rather hit the nail on the head as well, but unfortunately in this timeline it takes more than using a baby as a human shield to de-rail a political career

I agree it's good to read to your kids a lot, but I am not sure about these numbers. I ain't reading the silmarillion front to back outloud to my boy on a daily basis

Uncle Andross... I've faaiiled yoouu! Well done for getting the proper ending, without Andross's looming face at the end cos you just defeated mecha Andross and not him. That takes me back

Old habits die hard, I keep launching my rear protection shell or banana by accident cos mario kart 64 taught me to manually hang onto it.

I hope you continued with the save file and taught them a lesson in how to not be creepos. It's great when you stumble on something in a game that's a bit dark, like that compound in the mountains in GTAV that has a loose dress code and the residents don't bother with pants or concealing their junk.

I love the country bumpkin version of SMW 1st level on the moo moo farm, and any throwbacks to SMB2 (I spotted the end credit music lovingly reinvented somewhere along the way). The cinema track is great, reminds me a bit of the music level in Mario 7 on the 3ds

They should be assigned to making in-game sound effects, specifically burps and farts like you could do in GTA 1. All games with dialogue options now have the extra choice of belching or cutting a muffin, and if you do it enough the NPCs puke.

And then do you wake up cranky and have a go at who woke you up, saying they didn't put you to bed properly?

LW? I meant LA of course
comment in response to post
I consider Z:LW to be a masterpiece, I could never understand how they squeezed it into a gameboy cartridge over 30 years ago. The music was great and the dungeons were top-tier self-contained puzzles. So glad it got remastered with an orchestra, and sorry for those who don't see its beauty

I bought sapphire on ebay some time ago as genuine, the guy messaged me and said "erm, I just looked and found out it might not be an original (and just a very cheap sd card copy), you're still okay to buy it though at vintage price yeah?" I didn't quite tell him to store it in a warm and dark place

Goldeneye had the right idea as the harder levels had more objectives, rather than just the health and damage limits altered. Bunker 2 on 00 Agent mode was a blast, you start in a cell with your magnet watch and just murder every git in the building. I became quite familiar with the patrol routes.
