I got back saying I can't in good conscience work for free for this type of institution, but with respect to the organizer. They replied speaking about the focus being on students to get involved with the arts. They also mentioned a goal to make things accessible for everyone. Thoughts?

Lovely piece of writing. It saddens me to hear that you earnt so little last year, for providing such value to so many people. There is so much to this I'd like to express. But for now just know that you deserve to reclaim the word 'rich' to mean vital and able to support yourself well. Peace.
