One of my favourite hardy geraniums is Geranium pratense “Cloud Nine”. More of a clumper than a spreader forming a big sprawling clump covered in gorgeous double pale blue/lilac flowers. Great for the front of a border in sun/partial shade. Good as a cut flower too #plantsky #flowersky #gardensky

The Carthusian pink, Dianthus carthusianorum, is in full bloom at the moment. It’s a European native with typical carnation leaves but much different flowers. Very tall scapes ending in little clusters of bright pink flowers. Can be short lived but easy from cuttings #plantsky #gardensky #flowersky

According to this flat-out terrifying article, 500 million people are using ChatGPT. And it’s in schools now. This is so dangerous, and governments are miles behind on any kind of meaningful regulation. In fact, most of them seem to be in thrall to it.

Had a bit of puff pastry left over after doing the stewed beef pies so used it for tonight’s tea. Doing caramelised onion and goats cheese tarts. Slow roasted a vine of tomatoes to go with it and some sautéed new potatoes #foodsky
