I'm so stupid before 11am I actually got a reasonable adjustment where I can refuse anything earlier.

In advocating for change, I find this question asked most by people who don't want to undertake the change.
It's not genuine. It's intended to derail the entire process by questioning the legitimacy of the process.

Honestly, as an academic, I have seriously been considering the same.

Totally agree; I'm from New Mexico, where we keep them in or a coyote or owl eats them.
Now I'm in the UK, even the architecture is not containment friendly. E.g., windows open outward, no screens, no A/C. Plus the culture. The change necessary is bigger than just "keep them in".

I'd send you my course outline, but since I generously ripped off yours to begin with, it might get circular!

I hate it that they don't end properly. Like, okay, a series is fine, but don't set up an episodic structure if you're not going to end the episode. That's just mean, and I will not buy your second book in protest.

Sometimes I can't work because I can't get the text message code to sign in.
I'm okay if AI takes over at this point. I don't want to do any of it anymore.
