This is where you go to tell the National Park Service to restore the word "transgender" in its entry on the Stonewall monument. (Scroll down.)

Somehow my “Discover” feed has switched from showing lots of gay thirst traps to showing me a ton of gaming content.

Listen to this from Marianne Faithfull in 2018, in her 70s. Still looking for new things to say and new ways to say them. It’s not pretty, but the depth of her lived experience makes it beautiful. youtu.be/8c9fks6jQjs?...

Remember the Cass Report, which supposedly "followed the science" on trans kids health? The huge York University epidemiology study on which it was based has finally been published, and it contradicts many of the report's conclusions. By @gidmk.bsky.social. gidmk.substack.com/p/gender-dys...

youtu.be/d0NxhFn0szc?... Marianne Faithfull’s art wasn’t just her music — it was her life. She took every scar, whether on her voice or her body or her psyche, and turned it into something exquisite or powerful or both.

Thank you to the Dragon Age devs who cared about inclusiveness. Veilguard had amazing skin tones, body sliders, textured hair styles, voice options, body scars and had some really diverse character creator and accessibility options. Thank you for caring 💜 #ThankYouDADevs

This refers to "rank and file DOGE staff." Ok, I'll bite. Who are they? Where are they? What is their source of funding? Who pays their salaries? Is DOGE a government entity? Which Congressional committee has oversight? Is it a business? Registered in what state? Is it a nonprofit? Is it tax-exempt?

I think reading the Kenneth Williams Diaries was a mistake. My appreciation for his earlier work really suffers after seeing what a bitter asshole he became. Can’t help but wonder if anything could have changed that trajectory.

The pianist at the Providence airport is playing the theme from MASH. Merry Christmas, I guess?

Have officially entered the 'That sounds like a problem for January Me' stage of the work cycle.

Because RI is still a land of wonder, we got our first delivery from the milkman this morning. (He is, in fact, a man, so I’m not going to use the gender-neutral “milk person,” which looks vaguely obscene to me.)

Okay, the third episode of Space Goonies was pretty good.

The birthright citizenship portion of the US Constitution is totally, inarguably unambiguous. No wiggle room. If the supreme court agrees to throw it out they are explicitly throwing out the entire document and our entire system of government.

Trying to decide on a rewatch tonight: RRR The Night Comes For Us The Big Four

The scariest thing for every CEO should be that one of their fellows was assassinated and there was no impact on the company’s share price. Even the stock market gets that CEOs don’t add any value. (If Musk died tomorrow, I’d bet Tesla stock would go up.)

I’m late, but Nadja’s instant and complete rage at every one of Colin Robinson’s vampire puns was absolute perfection.

Read The Orton Diaries while I was in Maine. Raises really complicated feelings — he was funny and a genius and an utter sex creep who was shaped and malformed by centuries of homophobia, and also was pushing back on that homophobia. But it very much made me want to read the plays.

About to get my third colonoscopy, and truly baffled by the different prep instructions for different places. Why did the last place make me wake up at 2 am to take special medicine to shit my guts out while this place has me taking 14 days’ worth of OTC laxatives at 5 pm?

I’m going to the woods of Maine for Thanksgiving. I haven’t yet decided if I’ll come back.
