1. The lack of attention to provincial politics in Ontario always shocks me. Ontario voter turnout yesterday: 45.4%. Recent provincial elections in other provinces: New Brunswick (66.1%, 2024), Québec (66%, 2022), British Columbia (59,4%, 2024), Alberta (59,5%, 2023), Saskatchewan (56,8%, 2024).

J'ai beaucoup d'admiration pour G. Bouchard, mais je trouve problématique son appui (avec quelques réserves) à ce projet de loi. Surtout quand l'on considère que le PL 84 est clairement inspiré des travaux de G. Rousseau sur la convergence culturelle (et en opposition à l'inteculturalisme).
