And to think, I criticized the emperor for building an almost identical model of the expensive super weapon that was destroyed by a few X-wings. Whoever runs an empire like that deserves to be thrown down a shaft.

Most celebrity podcasts suck too. They typically have no interviewing skills, no format besides stream of consciousness ramblings, and show up without any prep to collect a paycheck. Smartless is the biggest offender of this but most are just as terribly produced money grabs.

Great article. Your description of super hero comics being soap operas is spot on. It’s why I loved X-Men growing up. The characters and relationships are what kept me coming back.
