A friend from the LA area told me this morning that people are doing it during the ‘photo moment’ on rides at Disneyland.

“A critic of the bureau” is a wild way of spelling “so utterly consumed by QAnon derangement that half the first Trump administration’s DOJ threatened to resign if he got anywhere near the top CIA job he was angling for,” but I’ve come to expect no better from your rag, NYT.

I hate to break it to you Senator, but aligning with an insurrectionist fascist regime on some choices & opposing others is not a principled stand. The Trump regime and its “Republican” sycophants are not an opposing party. They are the enemy of justice, democracy, and freedom itself. Act like it.

Hard to believe that the U.S. government will honour any of its commitments these days. But I hope you’re right. I really hope you’re right.

Insurrectionist traitor and aspiring tyrant Donald Trump falsely accuses popular elected leader of Ukraine of being a “dictator” while trying to force a peace treaty that Ukraine was not consulted on, and attempting to extort the country’s natural resources from him.

Didn’t occur to anyone how arrogantly colonizer this entire thing is toward neighbours and supposed allies, huh

Senator. We all watched Senate Republicans hamstring everything to do with a Democratic administration every time they were in the minority for 16 years. They even wrote a how-to guide! If you want to help stop this fascist takeover, maybe you could try doing your job. bsky.app/profile/ezra...

DOGE is not a govt efficiency project. Firing 1 in 4 fed employees would cut govt spending by 1%. DOGE is a political control project. Firing and terrorizing public employees is a means to weakening state regulation & strengthening a personalist presidency donmoynihan.substack.com/p/doge-misma...

You know, you can cover what the White House does without being in the building. In fact, you can cover it *better* — Woodward and Bernstein broke Watergate from the City Desk. But keep on making apologies for rank cowardice I guess

Straight-up Republican and Republican voter thinking, yeah. Them: [x] is awful and should be ILLEGAL! Reality: Your kid needs [x] Them: Maybe we should have a dialogue about allowing [x] Every. Fucking. Time.

The opening position of the Russian Party is that Russia can take whatever it wants, naturally.

Is this…real?

We’ve long since crossed that bridge and left it miles and miles behind. The regime of the insurrectionist is wilfully committing crimes and shredding the constitution every day of the week, and has been for some time. I still hope for a peaceful resolution, but that feels less likely every day…

Headlines like this are why nobody trusts you.

A traitor is squatting in the White House and an unelected neo-Nazi has seized control of the Treasury in order to illegally throttle money lawfully distributed by Congress. The crisis is already here

Senator. We all watched the obstructionism of the Republicans every single time they’ve been in the minority for the last 16 years. They even provided this handy guide, USE IT. Nothing else happens in Congress until the assault on democracy stops. NOTHING. bsky.app/profile/ezra...

Maybe I’m just slow on the uptake, but wouldn’t that be very easy to demonstrate? A quick Google of all the people Trump and Musk have attacked by name, revoked security details from, and who have subsequently faced threats and attacks, and there’s your likely risk?

Thank you for being one of the only journalist writers I’ve seen so far to speak the plain truth.
