Seriously. Especially a streamed movie… I mean, say a movie is made in the UK and Netflix streams it in the U.S. Does the UK production company pass the tariff cost along to Netflix, which then charges the U.S. viewer more to watch it?

I’m still baffled at how in America an adjudicated rapist unanimously convicted by a jury of 34 felonies is allowed to occupy the presidency.

Lest we forget, Hillary beat him by almost 3 million votes. If not for the Electoral College, I suspect he would have disappeared from the political scene and be doing no more damage than cheating at golf.

I wonder if Trump knows what DOGE’s AI bot is saying. Maybe he should give Elon a call…

Seriously. And remember when, later, he said COVID would just go away “like magic”? Sheesh.

And remember… why was he convicted of 34 felonies? Because he paid a porn star $130K to keep quiet about screwing him while his wife took care of their baby.

2) Did DOGE scrutinize the $20 billion in federal contracts awarded to Elon Musk’s companies in order to ensure there wasn’t any bureaucratic bloat? Taxpayers want to be reassured that Musk’s companies are efficient contractors.

1) Elon Musk is the head of DOGE and he went to the UFC fight in Miami. Does this mean he believes the taxpayers’ money spent for security at that event was an appropriate use of federal funds?

I had a ... shall we say ... "spirited" back-and-forth with DOGE's AI bot on X. That is, until I asked these 2 questions, which prompted nothing but silence:

So please look into how much was spent on Secret Service security for Trump, some of his cabinet, and Elon Musk to attend a UFC fight in Miami (assuming you don't feel it was necessary).

Here's what I sent my 2 GOP senators (along with link to the NYT story):

I know you're committed to ensuring our taxpayers' dollars aren't wasted on unnecessary spending, particularly in light of a possible looming recession and higher inflation.

So how much of our money did this cost us for Secret Service protection?

Do MAGA patriots get pancreatic cancer? Too bad they don't believe in Deep State stuff like vaccines and the NIH...

With Pam in charge, no doubt the MAGA patriots will be able to get much more reliable news from these folks - and they won’t even have to pay for it, since the Russians do!

No doubt the MAGA patriots are doing their duty by buying printed-in-China "God Bless America" Bibles. For just $1,000, they can get one signed by their savior, an adjudicated rapist who a jury found guilty of 34 felonies because he screwed a porn star!

Here's a thought ... instead of firing the Department of Energy staff who oversee nuclear weapons (and then scrambling to rehire them), maybe DOGE should expand the DOE's loan program that helps drive private-sector innovation. Elon shouldn't mind...

Ah ... I take that back ... Musk's compensation is in stock options, so NONE of his income is subject to the payroll text that funds Social Security and Medicare.
