Overall I think I still like this. I realise I talk more about the bad stretch here but the good stretch is genuinely so great. Episode 9 especially man fuck. My jaw was on the floor. The finale also made me feel so confused and lost, exactly how I want to feel in a David Lynch-directed episode.

The first 9 episodes and the finale are just genuinely excellent, even exceeding Season 1 in a lot of places.
Everything inbetween - the episodes where Lynch and Frost stepped away and let the new showrunners do whatever - are the TV equivalent of a fucking lobotomy.
