Agreed - we should be stressing DEI as honourable, desirable, good - otherwise we are validating the misappropriation and negative usage they have given it. We need to take back the terminology; scream it to the rooftops as a rallying cry: "DIVERSITY!!! EQUITY!!! INCLUSION!!!

To say this infantizes and absolves him of blame. He knows what he is doing. He also has Elon muscling into offices, installing servers, accessing sensitive information, killing programs, and freezing funding. It's all about asserting control. He has voices in his ears but the decisions are his.
