Ah, I don't think they'd climb a 6ft wall. If you kept π they'd be around and be a pest. π Don't worry, I think rodents make a home nr food (falling bird food) so if it's gone you shld be fine. Sunflower seeds for birds don't seem to make a mess and are nutritious, but I'd have a break for a while.

π€£π Well I get foxes in my garden. I've got parents and 4 cubs keep coming in. Lovely to see but they do flatten the flowerbeds. π€¦ββοΈ And I don't feed them. Mind you, yes I'd rather them than rodents (though they're all God's creatures I guess). Hopefully your 'little friend' will soon be gone. π₯°

If there's no food around for it it should go. π€Yes remove any birdfood in case it was dropping down. Shame you've no foxes around but don't panic it will soon be gone I'm sure. π€π

I agree. I like it in amongst the flower border to brighten things up. It has medicinal properties too. A pretty plant - and as you say liked by pollinators. πππΌ

Ah right. Yes having a garden is always good and not just seeing the plants doing well (most of the time, ha) but seeing the wildlife enjoying it. ππ¦π¦ββ¬ Enjoy yr garden. Take care.

Ah yes, I like Rozanne too. ππ How great to have Bevan's variety. Is there a link to you? I do have several varieties myself, but not sure of names of some. They do brighten your day. Have a good one. πΈ

Oh that's good if it's flowering. π Mine isn't yet (deep pink) π€πΈπ¦ The butterflies usually love Buddleia and their numbers are really down. Let's hope this year's sunny spring and current weather helps them. ππ€

π Ha, that's a tricky one. Good to eat veg - but not everyone else's. My daughter used to love runner beans raw off the plant. Still does. She'd rather them raw than cooked. It's good to see them eating fresh, organic veggies! π Enjoy yr garden!

Thank you for that info. Yes I have the same with mine. I've never known it with Buddleia before. I've sent in my photo and details. Mine had dark aphids on underside. Doused them in soapy water. It will be drastic for butterflies if we don't get flowers!

ππ I don't blame you. It's impossible to pick peas without eating them. When I was little and helped mum by podding peas for our Sunday lunch.....she asked me to whistle so she knew I wasn't eating them! π

Lovely birdsong, but I'm not very good at identifying them I'm afraid. Great to listen to them though! ππ

It's a lovely colour! π I wonder what colour the lupin will be? It's great having things pop up in the garden. πππ·πΈ

Yes I'm always sad when they go over. π€ But still, there'll be something else to enjoy in the garden... I do love spring! Have a good day. ππΈ

Lovely photos Alison. Is Jack Snipe a small daffodil? I like the look of it and will try and get some next year. I also love the Prunus and the fact the bees love it too. Thanks for that. Have a lovely weekend! ππΈπ

Fantastic. You've 2 gardeners-to-be right there. Love it. I started aged 7yrs with my own square metre of ground all to myself. πππΈπ·π

Not really Grunion. π€ It's just asking people who have a garden ( ie gardeners) if they'll put some water out for any visiting wildlife. I do hope you'll do it too. You may save a creature's life. πΈπΌπ¦π± All the best. Have a good evening.
