A positive optimist. Today at least! Loves nature and green space with the occasional burst of London to blow away the cobwebs. Wilfully Woke 😊

Very amused by the emails people are spamming to Musk’s [email protected] address (meant for Fed workers to justify their job to him). Even more interested to see that searching for [email protected] brings up many results on BlueSky, but absolutely nothing is returned when searching on Twitter. Free speech?

‘A good day to bury bad news’ is being used frighteningly effectively by Maga. Create turmoil, make multiple controversial statements, announce many big policy changes at once so no one can keep up. Then almost anything can be put in place while the outrage is diluted. How do we fight this?

Waiting for cab to restaurant (pub) Time for a couple of quick B52s. Happy Valentines to my beautiful wife xx #lovegettingoldergracefully

Beautiful morning - ‘dragon’s breath’ mist clinging to the floor of the valley, fleetingly still until it is consumed by the first rays of the winter sun.

Won’t be long folks! Can’t wait until Spring has sprung again 😊

Winter isn’t so bad when you’re a cat.

This is now my Box. No-one is allowed to move it and this table can no longer be used by humans, as it has become a “designated place” for me to sit when there is no available lap… #cat #theboss

Mental health warning to fellow Blueskyers. Try to avoid a quick curious look at what is going on in the old place. I just did that. Wow.

Cholesbury hill fort in the snow last weekend. Beautiful, peaceful and timeless.

Beautiful frosty winter morning today, with long-shadowed horses munching on the crispy grass. Part 2

Let the annual Sprout fest begin…

Happy Solstice! To celebrate here is a Yule Log that my amazing daughter made today.

Taken near Penn in Bucks a few weeks ago. I don’t know why, but I love moss. There is something comforting about it.

Cholesbury Hill fort on this beautiful misty morning.

Found this photo I took of a cow earlier this year. I am not sure whether it was small or far away…

Cross cat just found her cat flap was locked so protested loudly. I opened the door and she ran out. Cross cat realised it was hammering down with rain and protested loudly. Contented cat now sitting happily indoors under the Christmas tree.

@blousy08.bsky.social Welcome to Bluesky!

A good day. Cymande tickets sorted for next year, and it is finally the weekend. Here is a picture of a bee we saved a couple of weeks ago. It was on the door step not moving. We gave it a drop of honey and off it flew 😊

@chrisgpackham.bsky.social A few years ago now, but here is a beautiful fox who visited our holiday cottage opposite the Needles on the Isle of Wight. Keep up the good work!

Cracking open the Noyau tonight. I made it with my daughter in the Spring from Beech leaves, Gin, Brandy and home made sugar syrup. Made a label for it, looks nice but not tasted yet. Apparently it is an old Chiltern Hills woodsman drink. Excited and slightly nervous to see what it’s like!

Ok, that’s the cat sorted. Now time to cook dinner.

Just looked out the window and said my wife - “the garden’s looking all white”. “Not too bad at all” she replied.

Ezra Collective at Wembley Arena on Friday. Absolutely brilliant. I usually don’t like large venues, too impersonal, no atmosphere etc. The whole place was dancing though - never seen anything like it. Loads of young people dancing to mostly instrumental jazz makes me happy for the future of music
