A digital coin toss is clearly open to fixing.

Well said Rohan! The second paragraph is just about perfect.

WADA’s doping ban settlement with Jannik Sinner creates more questions than answers: defector.com/wadas-doping...

It’s interesting reading player reactions to the Sinner news, because it simultaneously: 1) matters what his peers think about the decision and the system, while also; 2) being clear that very few of them know what they’re talking about entirely. Both things can be true.

When is Jimmy Vance's free speech and democracy tour due to arrive in Moscow and Beijing?

Free speech "is in retreat" in Britain, says JD Vance, who is part of a Government which is now targeting critical news organisations with politically-motivated investigations, while banning others from the White House for the crime of referring to the Gulf of Mexico by its actual name

Fantastic performance from Penko, but Iga fans must be concerned about how she completely fell apart in the 2nd set.

I genuinely don't understand the logic of Emma repeatedly talking WCs just to lose in R1. Maybe this time will be different. But playing qualifying would seem to make a lot more sense. www.bbc.co.uk/sport/tennis...

The WTA has concluded the independent investigation into Stefano Vukov and has announced that his suspension “remains in place”. WTA’s statement below:

Lots of terrific match-ups at Doha WTA today - and we're only in the 2nd round!

Ostapenko/Perez are Abu Dhabi doubles champions!

Bencic into the final! Such high quality from her since her return. And so calm under pressure (which hasn't always been true of her).

Shocking line call was shown to be wrong on challenge, and the umpire controversially gave the point to Bencic to set up 2 MPs. Rybakina saved the MPs, broke back then held! Bencic has another chance now to serve out.

Great match between Rybakima and Jabeur. Elena wins in a deciding TB, but great to see Ons playing that sort of tennis again.

Take a bow, Mattia Bellucci!

I thought all tour-level matches this year were supposed to have automatic line calling. Is that only for ATP? Abu Dhabi WTA still has linespeople.

So exciting!!
