I want peaceful resistance. We can lock arms and protect immigrants, but I object to the word, fight, because it often triggers aggression. If you mean "fight" back like Gandhi and Martin Luther King Jr., then I agree. We cannot become the evil ICE is. We must establish and demonstrate a better way.

ICE agents certainly have badges with numbers. There are no serial numbers. They also have credentials that match the badge.

They should show a standard ICE badge. There is no name or badge number for ICE/HSI agents.
Ask for their call sign and number. If they don't supply that, call 911 and tell them masked men with weapons and tactical gear are abducting people.

I got into an argument the other night with someone who thinks this is perfectly fine as long as they are illegal. I couldn’t seem to make him understand that you don’t know if they are illegal unless they have due process. I suspect he’s secretly Nazi.

This. I think the MAINE reason they cover their faces is because during the hiring surge, they lowered standards for enrollment.
Some of these people couldn't pass a background check to be a shift manager at a convenience store.
Some of them are also pardoned J6ers.
