Played some Wilds of Eldraine sealed with a buddy last night. I think MtG has kinda lost its luster for me. I like opening packs and seeing the art on the cards, but the games seemed to be actively unfun. Not sure if it’s really power creep or any of the other buzzwords. I just lost the spark.

One of things I learned after stepping away from playing (& obsessing) over Magic the Gathering so often, is that it’s ok to miss sets. It’s ok to not participate in every pre release. Your commander deck will be just fine without the newest most efficient card. The game really exploits FOMO.
