Unfortunately shame and regret, and/or similar feelings, are probably all they know already, and are what led to their actions. I sincerely hope they one day begin to learn love and compassion.

Absolutely. Being a therapist and seeing change happen on the daily helps me keep my faith. If I didn't see it up close and personal so often though I'm not sure how I'd feel

Hakini mudra? In Sanskrit hakini means "power" or "rule," and the mudra can supposedly help ease anxiety and depression. I'm 100% confident these guys aren't intentionally doing a mudra but maybe their higher self is trying to shine through? Maybe? Probably not?
