Absolutely. Every countermeasure that can be taken needs to be.

It's his time. No more bench. He's a cutter. Big. Physical. I think it brings a whole new dimension to our offense when you have a wing with that physical talent playing off ball.If he shoots 35+% from three he's gotta play.

Context matters. I was buying this before 24. I know MN, those numbers are meaningless. It's a huge Democratic district and the win was never in question. Republican voters show up in the general for a statewide election but there's zero reason for a district election that's a slam dunk democrat W.

The MN dem seat was never gonna pull Rs. It's a landslide D district but Rs show up for statewide election impacts, MAG/Trump. I know the rep and he's a great human but don't read anything at all into that district performance. It was a critical win but if they don't crush we are all cooked.

They're already for what's popular but get zero credit broadly. Honestly, Biden was hugely successful at passing meaningful legislation and restoring sanity to diplomacy.

Nope. Love KAT. Gobert impacts winning more than KAT and is extended for far less.

This call is an accurate take on their play but idk if he gets moved. They only trade him if it's into an expiring and/or to lock an asset in while knowing they don't think they can retain Naz/NAW.

I definitely enjoyed Diplomat. There was a series many years ago called Rubicon - one season, really enjoyed it. Of the espionage or intelligence variety that I really enjoyed too!

I wonder when he posts something like this if he actually commits to learning and understanding the drivers. I doubt it but I one can hope.

One of the best, my favorite for certain! I learned so much and grew in my understanding of the world greatly through your columns and books. Hoping you find a platform which holds leaders to account and educates your readers as you have done so well in this space!

Trump voters knew this to be true and voted for him anyway.
"Trump tariffs would create the greatest engine of corruption in history, an institutionalized kleptocracy where import-based business lives or dies by Trump’s favor. Elon Musk’s imported parts might be exempted while GM’s are not."

Retailers won't raise prices unless their suppliers raise prices. Their suppliers raise prices if their costs go up, or they carve out value in their products to keep prices down, shrinking the value of the product. We've just lived through this. Retailers are saying this out loud because they know.

Balancing the budget through cuts isn't the way... 😕 unless it's through massive tax increases on wealth. The wealthy and corporations.

My point was they won't preemptively raise prices. Markets don't work that way unless they have a monopoly.

Idk Mike, I see lots of criticism from you but I don't often see what you think plausible policy solutions are that are passable

They won't raise prices unless tariffs raise their prices. Y'all have to understand some basic supply and demand principles. Prices go up, demand goes down. They still need to make a margin/profit rate and will always try to strike the right balance to maximize both.

I want to blame the news for dampening enthusiasm but really, for underselling the threat of the incoming administration. It's clear fear is a greater motivator to drive turnout and clearly people didn't understand what they have to be afraid of in front of us. With COVID, they knew the assignment.
