NFL teams had 4216 more rushing yards in 2024 than they had in 2023. 23 of 32 teams had more rush yds in 2024 than 2023. Both Balt (3189) and Phi (3048) surpassed 3k rush yds. Ravens 2661 led league in 2023. Wash and TB both had 1027 more rush yds in 2024 than 2023.

As @dennycarter.bsky.social well knows, the 15-2 Detroit Lions (+222) had a point differential of +163 better than the 15-2 Kansas City Chiefs (+59). The Philadelphia Eagles had the 2nd best point differential in the league at +160.

Very very soft schedule thus far but the Cincinnati Bearcats are 1st in nation in both effective field goal % and defensive effective field goal % according to @kenpom.com I wonder if anyone has done that more games into a season? Cincy has been dreadful both getting to FT line & shooting FT though

The New York Giants have not intercepted a pass in their last 10 games. A stretch that covers 218 pass attempts. This past week Tampa became the first team to have 30 pass attempts vs the Giants this season. Giants had 4+ sacks in 6 of their first 8 games, they’ve had 1 total in the past 3 games.

Interesting shooting start for the Cincinnati Bearcats men’s basketball team this season. Shooting lights out from 3 but barely getting to free throw line and not shooting well when they do get to the line. Something to monitor that could severely limit their upside.

The brutality of the Stokastic sims every once in a while. I wonder how accurate it was tonight in projecting dupes for these 2 lineups but so tough to get near the top and have to split a prize on a 6 game slate. Just a Vucevic/Poeltl swap in the 2 lineups.
