A serious counter-argument. Democrats aren’t competitive in 24 states, it’s not sustainable for meaningful progress, something has to change. It is going to take something drastic to reclaim the Senate any time in the near future.

What can Democrats do if they are not even remotely close to winning in 24 states? Winning the Senate back anytime in the near future seems impossible with the seats lost in MT, OH and WV. Dems need to barnstorm the middle of the country and show up in person.

Texas Tech’s concern of not having a guy who can create his own offense the story of this loss. Still impressive to only lose by 1 when outshot from 3 (12-22 vs 4-20). But achilles heel shows early for a team I’m high on.
