I’m liking what I’ve seen so far in his first start on loan, wants to get it and go

Also, did Kinsky not get a hand on the ball? It sure looked to me like he did. These PKs for marginal contact on a diving attacker are a particular pet peeve, so hyper-punitive relative to the offense (as are 90+% of “handball” pens). That doesn’t put a grown man to ground unless he’s looking for it

Despite the look of it, at HT we were very much in the tie at 1-1, and if not for that rushed, sloppy giveaway by Biss, with his teammates streaming forward, we might’ve even still had an advantage

Their top goalscorer has 21 starts and 5 goals. Dane had 7 starts and scored 4. Hopefully he gets a better second half loan situation.

First goal should’ve never been their possession for uncalled foul on Pape, then never should’ve been a corner because ball went out off them. Terrible.

And their UCL coverage is unwatchable!

I’m not sure that I’d automatically assume that Mourinho’s relationship with the medical team’s advice and Ange’s are the same.

Could Yang get a loan to a Championship club to get higher-than-K-League level experience and still count as club trained?

It might be noted that while, yes, a certain group of west London book-cooking loophole merchants may have scored one more goal than Spurs, but THREE of theirs have come rather generously from the spot

He contributes to making Paramount+ UCL coverage unwatchable every week, and no sensible idea seems to have ever entered his mind or passed betwixt his teeth. Why does anyone put a mic in front of him?

What a moron

The PKs really do skew the chart, with west london book-cookers getting more than half their xG from non-scoring chances (one drawn by a player who should’ve already been sent off, one just playing for a foul while moving away from goal).

We also saw Spurs score 3 legit goals to the cheating army’s 2 (plus 2 more of the cheapos they buy for their PK merchant, one drawn by a player who should’ve been sent off).

Would love to see Djed at RB, give Pedro a break

Cake batter. That’s exactly it. Perfect perspective.

So good! Love his skills, love his heart, love how he loves the club!

It was awful, I agree. Felt really down afterward. I’ve just found that—win or lose—I usually feel (even) better after listening to TEI each week. So it just came as a shock to feel so much worse by mid-listen that I made a rare foray into social media interaction. That said, love the pod!

Ok, perhaps I shouldn’t have replied (above) after only 25 minutes. The last bit helped a little. But I still feel worse than pre-listen (which is almost never the case with my weekly TEI listens).

As frustrating as the Palace match was (and it certainly WAS!!!), this listen has actually somehow managed to make me feel MUCH WORSE—roughly the same level of positivity as Siouxsie’s ‘Join Hands.’ Get well soon, Nathan! TEI is a bleak and dreary place without you! @nathanaclark.bsky.social

If that whole pointless event just disappeared, would ANYONE care? Or notice…?

It turns you were half-right, as the correct halftime move was: In: Bissouma, Spence Out: Bentancur, Udogie

And Leyton Orient!

I think Rodon and Spence are a different question from Parrott and Scarlett…even if it might (but also might not) be the same answer
