Ernesto Díaz Espinoza's The Good, The Bad, And The Ugly: Judgment Day.

Constantly having to defend the hard work I do on third shift is fucking exhausting, man. Retail consists of the most absurd human beings alive. I mean, I'm one of them, I guess, but also, fuck. Does anyone need a pixel artist? Full time?

Pixel art map I've been working on for my D&D campaign I'm running. A church under siege due to a zombie outbreak:

A major danger of LLMs is that humans are SO predisposed to attribute knowledge to any entity that uses natural language fluently. We cannot imagine that a machine that outputs natural-seeming speech/text doesn't have cognition. Brilliantly articulated by @emilymbender.bsky.social et al. (2021).

Some philosophy of mind stuff is going to become essential basic knowledge for interacting with the Internet's false agents.

It’s Father’s Day and maybe some of you do not have a dad in your life for one reason or another. And maybe of that group, some of you need to learn how to shave. Never learned, new to you, been doing it wrong, whatever. So today I will be your dad, and I’m going to teach you to shave.

Pixel art is so cool.

The Beast Starting a new bookmark specifically for my Horror reading 💀

Day 14, #Junesploitation - Free Space! My Saturday Pulp trilogy concludes. What a night it's been.

I just wanted to say thanks to everyone who has shared this so far - I really appreciate it. I’m really working hard to get my subscription numbers up too so I’d love if folks would sign up if they dig what I’m doing (free or paid is great). Thank you! 🖤

I also wrote about the most important scene in the Friday the 13th franchise a few months ago & thought I should share this as well today as I’m super proud of this piece too: open.substack.com/pub/thehorro... Cheers y’all!!

Also, because it is Friday the 13th, I thought I’d share my recent piece on Mrs. Voorhees again on why she should be just as big of an icon as her son Jason: open.substack.com/pub/thehorro...

Me right now because I have to wait until next week before I can watch DIABLO:

Oh, yeah! I had a blast with DIABLO. Marko Zaror going full Terminator in this is a thing of beauty. A true DTV delight!

Fans of Marko Zaror being an absolute weirdo who can also beat people up real good are going to *love* his new joint, with long time collaborator director Ernesto Diaz Espinoza, “Diablo.” Zaror plays a hitman who is part Terminator and part “Rolling Thunder,” with a dash of Anton Chigurh if 1/

Let's make DIABLO the biggest VOD hit of all time so they can finish the FIST OF THE CONDOR saga.

Rewatch complete of Ernesto Díaz Espinoza and Marko Zaror’s violent revenge tale. There is no one that looks and moves like Zaror and his screen fighting skills are on full display. Noah Segan is great as the clueless “drug lord”. Each fight builds until the thrilling finale.

One thing I always admire about the action film fan community is that we do not gatekeep. The most important thing is making sure these obscure films live on, & the only way that happens is if people watch them and share them. So, here is a rare one for you all. Download it, watch it, & pass it on.

Badlands is going to come out and it's not going to be the "genre film then a Predator shows up" formula we all love to gush about and some of you won't know what to do with that. I maintain that it is not a necessity to make a Predator film work. PREDATORS is right there.

D&D campaign, then a Predator shows up.

Good morning. Childs and MacReady are both human. Childs has an earring in at the end. Try to imagine the Thing putting in an earring to sell the imitation. Ridiculous. (I’m ignoring this being a tell from the 2011 prequel.) MacReady chuckles at the end. None of the Thing imitations laugh.

1) Daniel Day Lewis & Joaquin Phoenix 2) Two notoriously intense method actors vie for the covered role of a serial killer in an upcoming horror movie. But the rivalry gets deadly as they both get a little too into character. 3) Killer Audition

1) Alan Ritchson and Ma Dong-seok. 2) Strait-laced LA cop gets saddled with a boozing, brawling Korean detective on an exchange program. 3) Beast Meets West.

Just finished “Predator: Killer of Killers,” the new Predator film debuting on Hulu/Disney+ today. Dan Trachtenberg basically coming out of nowhere then dropping two of the best entries in a long-running, beloved franchise is a hell of a flex. Series fans are eating good here. Excited for Badlands
