Excuse me, that is Marion Snow. Thank you.

Done with my rewatch of Dardevil season 1-3 and The Punisher Season 1-2. I have come out the other end an even bigger fan. Didn't think that was possible for me.

Good example of how it's not really a failure to understand, or a hallucination, or something you can fix with better iterations. The statistical word association machine fundamentally does not deal in concepts, it has no comprehension of ideas, it can never do anything that requires human thought.

Speaking from experience, I can't endorse this thread enough:

Ever seen Ice Cube’s XxX: State of the Union? There’s a part where he steals a tank to save the USA after a maniacal cabinet tries to take it over in a coup.

So pumped for Hayley Wright. She’s the first ever woman to win Vulture’s Stunt Performer of the Year. She had a WILD 2024. So well deserved. Here’s some BTS footage she sent me of her crawling beneath a moving car. Insanity. A true love for the game

Every other facet of my life is falling apart at record speed but at least in the last 24 hours I've seen this year's Vulture Stunt Awards drop, the news that Timo is directing Beekeeper 2, and the Havoc trailer is finally here. I'm hanging on by a thread, but this is some truly awesome stuff.

very sincerely the nominees and quotes from artists and performers here are much sharper, more keenly observed, and generous in their engagement with film as an act of creation than anything you'll see from any televised awards shows. really excellent stuff year after year

I am beyond grateful for the opportunity to participate in this. Incredible stuff Brandon and company have put together to shine a much needed spot light on the most difficult and awe inspiring jobs in the business. Check out this year's Vulture Stunt Awards! (So stoked about that Rebel Ridge win)

I can't believe that we are getting both Nobody 2 and Beekeeper 2 from the best living action director working today.

complaining about "the far left" is such loser energy. oh no, not the people who want everyone to have human rights!!!!

wow new art. honestly I have no idea how this one survived, with a power outage literally 10 minutes before I was done, which eradicated 5 crucial layers.

Doc's right (he's right a lot) about how "weird" isn't taught. Everyone is a product of their environment and sometimes that environment makes your art a little bit more off-kilter. Like my art often incorporates uncanny valley because I see it in everything.

Brilliant protest. Yosemite National Park workers hung an upside-down American flag — traditionally a symbol of distress or a national threat — thousands of feet off the ground on the side of El Capitan.

Watched a fair amount of movies between yesterday and today. Award season catch-ups with BABYGIRL, and MARIA, alongside newer films released within the last couple weeks (THE MONKEY, THE GORGE). Sealed the deal today by finally watching William Friedkin's TO LIVE AND DIE IN L.A.

They should straight up reboot The Terminator with this teaser clip except at the end it's Alan Ritchson.

it's a dream of mine to be one of Jack Reacher's small friends

didn't realize liberals were mad about Jack Reacher. 'cause I can't help but feel that Reacher is maybe the perfect fantasy right now for left-leaning folks who are sick of political corruption and inaction - it's just nice to sit back and watch Big Boy Fix Problem.

With the return of Reacher I’d like to gently remind some of my liberal friends that there are multiple books in the Reacher series where the entire premise is “local cops corrupt, Feds are lazy and stereotyping”. It’s okay to let people like stuff without the lecture.

I think REACHER operates under Blob logic. The more bad guys and injustice he consumes, the bigger he gets.

I love the shit out of some REACHER, God tier Dad television. I loved Season 2 with its Vyce coined rpg adventuring party team of Reachers. But I was really disappointed in the action in season 2, noticeable down grade from season 1 in editing and blocking. Hope that changes for Round 3.

the premise of john wick is so funny it's essentially 'whoops you just carjacked dracula'

I talked up “Sympathy for the Devil” when I was on Twitter. It’s an upper-tier modern-era Nick Cage flick that everyone has mostly ignored. Which is a massive shame. If you like tonally pitch black neo-noirs (“neon-noirs” should be a thing btw). You’ll like this. The 4K disc is dirt cheap & gorgeous

I found a crazy bug in Avowed guys

We've been given a gift, this day.

That sounds you hear is @vycevictus.bsky.social running through a goddamn wall.
