and the best way it can be articulated is extremely simply: an immersive sim is a game about putting you in a particular fantasy as one of the characters, acting as you would if you were actually in that situation.

And arguably never looked better.

I tried to find a gif of when the drunk henchmen mouse hiccups and calls ratigan a rat but had no success.

Really gotta give it to Scott Adkins for giving us Undisputed fans rematches with both Marko Zaror and Michael Jai White in One More Shot.

Having an iron fist is such a cool weapon in hand to hand. Zaror often fakes people out in his fights to blind side them with an uppercut or something similar. It is brutal. Knocks the wind out of Adkins more than once.

Dude, this movie fucking rules. The most Isaac Florentine ass Espinoza flick to date, I mean that in the best way possible. And don't take the above joking title lightly, Ernesto Díaz Espinoza's ability to deconstruct and pay homage to specific genres is unmatched in the action scene.

Oh hell yeah! Haha apologies I didn't mean to put you to work this sunday, but that's wonderful news it will see new light over here. 🤙

Yeah the story about how he tells people if you smoke cigarettes around him you have to fight him always comes to mind. Like dude chill, go put some more product in your hair. Incredible physical presence, I will always enjoy watching him but someone probably needs to shove him in a locker.

I will never not love Treat Williams hamming it up in the best way possible for the entire movie. Brilliantly over the top performance.

Childhood favorite. One of those "defined my entire taste in movies and art" type films.

Tell that to all the people the predators bisected before they got to the the main character of each segment. Lol

By the way, this is a fun example monster in Into The Odd Remastered:

I just think that the way we talk about Predator films has become reductive when people keep repeating this golden formula and applying it inconsistently.

I feel this deeply.

The action was fantastic though. Really wonderful choreography. Also I know everyone's about the "genre film then a Predator shows up" bit but I really love getting lore about the Yautja.
