i also have a pretty bad fear for needles but it didn't get this bad.
i can understand how you felt though. my mind kind of blocked out the moment the needle went in even though i didn't collapse or anything.

the only question is what i'm going to do to make content for my channel now. the launch was going to be very important for me but now they took that from me and my current content is not really doing anything.

it's kind of a blessing in disguise that i've been moving away from most of their games in the most recent years.
this only makes it a lot easier to skip out on the majority of their shit since there was very little that really interest me anymore from them.

seriously, how are things going backwards after a quarter of a century?
the GBA and Gamecube were available in my country at launch and the same has been true for every sucessor of both that came afterwards until now. even the Wii U was here on release day.
so yeah fuck them now.

while this confusion is understandable (remasters being called remakes when the work is very high level), it's pretty funny when the confusion happens the other way around (seeing an actual full remake being called a remaster. i've seen it happen)

i guess that's why it confuses people a lot since the parts that do get remade are the most obvious ones (the graphical assets) and only the enthusiasts know about stuff like game engines and other things behind the scenes remaining the same.
