This is so true and I think why it takes so many people so long to figure out they're trans... especially back before information was more widely available. I didn't realize I had facial hair dysphoria - I just told myself I hated the sensation so I never even went a week without shaving.

So KC Pride was during a monsoon. But near the end, the rain started to clear and my kids saw me from the crowd and ran out and walked the rest of the way with me. I came out to them last year during Pride weekend and I’m so thankful that’s it’s only brought us closer together 💜

Trans people I need help! Our corporate gender discrimination training sucked in typical cis fashion and I pointed it out. Now I’ve got a meeting with our company VP to explain more.
