I have used the jail booking database in my reporting FOR YEARS to see info about ICE detainees who pass through county jails. That's likely a big reason why this is happening. This is a MAJOR STEP IN THE WRONG DIRECTION ON GOVERNMENT TRANSPARENCY IN FLORIDA. We are officially pushing back on this.
