I need to catch up on the VODs but I'm super exited, it's been a blast so far. Wish I could have been watching it live but scheduling just didn't allow, but glad that it sounds like it was super fun!

Apparently Mamdani has a time machine and will make the minimum wage $30 in 2019. No wonder you all fear him so much. Wait, I'm hearing he doesn't have a time machine, you're just a pathetic racist hack.

It's not fault of the devs, and if anything I feel does a disservice to them. They clearly worked hard to make a game that was heavily inspired by a lot of games they loved, and did a good job. It should just be allowed to exist on it's own merits! Not be some disk horse bludgeon for weirdos.

I haven't played Clair Obscur (I doubt my computer could run it anyways) but I've seen some streams of people playing it, and it seems pretty cool. The weird discourse people tried and apparently are still trying to force around it is so tedious and annoying though.

Eric Garcia has been on this from day one and gives us this warning and I can't stress enough how much of a must follow Eric is for congressional trans news. bsky.app/profile/eric...

I never played the first game but the impression I got was that this was NOT the tone it had lol. I actually own Death Stranding 1 from when it was free on the Epic Games Store, I really should see if it is able to run on my computer or not one of these days. But I have such a huge backlog already.

Yeah, I'm sure there are some weirdos who voted Lander as their number 1 because they supported him, but also decided to completely ignore everything he said about ranking other candidates. I don't think it'll be enough to matter though lol. So if Lander's number 2s get counted... :D

Considering Mamdani and Lander cross-endorsed each other as their number 2s and campaigned together against Cuomo, with Lander spending a ton of effort in this last few weeks to support Mandani, and considering the two combined have nearly 55% to Cuomo's 36% percent according to the latest numbers-

Ironically enough, I think there's a chance that the only way it doesn't *appear* to be a landslide is if it actually *is* a landslide of epic proportions. So if Mamdani barely reaches 50% before Lander, the 3rd place candidate, is eliminated.

I'm not shocked he's being arrested for something. But honestly I'd have expected more that he'd go on Rogan's podcast and promote his raw meat carnivore diet grift and Rogan would just credulously parrot back all his talking points.

She was always a liar downplaying just how extreme her views were, but it's still disturbing to see the difference. Especially since I suspect that she's still downplaying how horrific her views are. What she once believed in private she now speaks openly, so what does she believe in private now?

If Mamdani and Landers hadn't been able to cross endorse each other and run campaigns friendly to each other but united against Cuomo, I suspect we might be looking at a rather different result now. And how many other elections would have gone better if they DID have a ranked choice system?
comment in response to post
God FPTP is so terrible. I'm so pissed more places don't have some sort of ranked choice/runoff system and that people have broken promises to implement those systems. Because they really make a huge difference.
