Human in the loop, where the loop is a circle of hell.

Yeah, that was some respect-shattering stuff :(

I don’t think there’s any significant first-mover advantage, but I agree they could not do that today.
Will it matter though? The business models around this stuff are yet to be validated.
Apple is very rarely the first mover, but often one of the players actually succeeding, once they get to it.

I am saying that based on the way they botched the rollout of Apple Intelligence. The biggest problems have not been the models or the infrastructure, but rather organizational issues.

I think those are not the main problems. Models are not a big issue (they even have a decent homegrown foundation one, plus their own custom infra).
Tragically, I think they have gotten weaker at what it’s been typically their strength: using that tech to build coherent, desirable experiences

(Of course it helps that Google also has some of the best models, but that would not be enough, without the weight of their platforms)

Virtually all demos are staged to some degree. The problem arises when you are demoing mockups or prototypes implying they are functional products.

Haven’t used it myself, but heard good things about Vanta, so maybe it helps: www.vanta.com

Wait, you can decide not to?!

If the cost structure strongly correlates with the number of people using the product, I’m perfectly fine with seat-based pricing.
But more often than not, that’s not the case, and it’s just used as a tool to extract as much profit as possible. I understand why it happens, but I don’t like it.

It depends on if you ask that on Mastodon or not.

Yep! Ah got it, than you want to have control on what to parallelize. Would be quite hard to determine automatically otherwise. See? There’s still space for a more specific tool! :)

Claude Code is CLI based, but it seems to work very similarly to Cline (haven’t tried it tho). What use case are you thinking about?

I only used them (knockoff) in the garden and with socks on. That’s the only acceptable use case to me.

“Bass lovers can't go wrong with either of the CMF earbuds. Both sound bassy up to guilty pleasure levels, and provide a smooth, warm and comfortable sound. Even though both models get the same score, the newer CMF Buds 2 take the cake with a slightly livelier treble”

“The CMF Buds 2 elevates center mid-tones and vocals more. It sounds more dynamic and a little bit more spacious.”

Come suono invece?
