we are an incredible species capable of so much and yet so little. I take solace in that even the minority is worth living for. Some goodness vs none at all.

Upon further review, my little guy has failed actual map terrain lol. Clearly still a few kinks to workout with the damned convex shapes

Can't wait to start seeing the finalized assets getting applied to this!

this is reminding me of how inconsistent the art was in the pre-3D era. You have this beautifully dithered pixel art, and then another shot of a castle wall that was just some image--possibly 3D--that they de-res'd without intentionality lol

I'm convinced videos are 5000% less engaging than still images on this form of platform lol. There's probably a reason for it I don't have time to figure out but it's very noticeable. bsky/twitter I think are more for doom scrolling images and text rather than vids.

I assume "Hybrid" adds an additional electric motor, which is why it costs more.

Yo thanks! Haha! Yeah--I kinda enjoy going ham with overly complicated future tech construction.

Yes. Simply yes.

oh! Nah, it's not that specific. It's more of an abstracted interpretation of the 2D world. And thanks a bunch for the compliment!

yeah, the game map is 3D, despite the game being 2D. Still gotta add the player position tracker and other bits which are harder to translate into 3D. Select button opens the map view, so def pressed a button!

If you're interested in exploring at a future date: www.pythonanywhere.com does free and cheap paid Django web servers. It's what I use for my current site. Fun framework to tool around with!

You'd be surprised at how much music a 256gb sd card in your phone can hold. I cut Spotify off back in December and run a media server now. Feels better to buy music direct from artists again.

I haven't used it in over a decade. Your issue reminded me of past pains lol. I took a chance on learning Django as a server backend/frontend and man did I enjoy learning and using it. PHP is arguably faster, but phew the headache lol.

Lord, I do not miss PHP lol. Good luck figuring it out though.

it has proactive use, but it's diminishing as it eats itself like an ouroborus. Additionally it's making it harder to "google" search anything at this point so you're forced to rely on it by proxy for things you don't want it to.

Hammering those systems out!

No lol. I made a sailing simulation once for students, and they couldn't navigate out of a bay, directions or not, without a gps style map.
