Total Con was a blast, as usual. Got lots of Shadowdark in, and finished off with a tight, two hour game of Hyperborea run by Jeff Talanian. Even better was my daughter played in that game with me and crushed it. It was her first proper old school game, descending AC and all.

The dice are a courage poem. When I was younger, I’d go to poetry nights at URI. Every session, they’d ask for volunteers for the courage poem. You’d get ten minutes to work in words or themes shouted at the MC (normally hip hop, waffle cone making, beatboxing Sage Francis).
