I have to pick up a copy! Reminds me of how Lillian Faderman uses lesbian as an adjective in "To Believe in Women: What Lesbians Have Done for America - a History"

This point was raised at a talk about repatriation I attended last night. Incredibly it came up AFTER one of the speakers gave a harrowing account of being invited into the stores of a well respected European museum and seeing human remains stored in cardboard box.

If you go before 2 March you can also catch "Stitching Souls: Threads of Silence," Karen McLean's installation commemorating the Zong Massacre.

Love how queer and trans the exhibit is. If you were nervous about the phrase "women and nonbinary" (I was) you'll be glad to know there are works by trans feminine artists, many nonbinary artists, and lots of lesbian visibility.

If anyone would like to contact NPS leadership, Director Sams resigned, Frank Lands is the deputy director and he was behind the nonsense last summer that blocked NPS staff from participating in Pride events. Phone # for the National headquarters is 202-208-6843

And yes, *even* "climate" is in there and maybe you're shocked because you thought it was a safe and apolitical cause. Yet White wealthy folks keep benefitting from the fossil fuel industry while global majority and poor people continue to bear the brunt of the effects of climate change.

Anyway, I guess I'm saying, cis women please notice that transphobia is misogyny and abortion bans are misogyny. Please don't wait until you're personally affected before standing up for women's rights.
