Watch what Trump says here. Then watch it again. "I would own it." Gaza. He would own Gaza. Not America. Him.

I can’t believe the Supreme Court said the president was above the law and now the president is acting like he’s above the law.

Donald Trump tried to illegally shut down funding for programs that millions of people rely on. Community health centers, Head Start programs, and charities are still having trouble accessing funds. Meanwhile, the taxpayers are paying for Trump's trip to the Super Bowl.

She speaks truth.

Radical publishing notion, right here: if your publishers are making a living from publishing and selling your books, then you, the author, should be making a living from writing them.

in one of the pierce brosnan bond movies the villain is a newspaper guy who wants the world in chaos bc it means more news for him to sell. I remember watching it and being like "this is impossibly dumb" but you know what, I may have been wrong on that

It's amazing how badly most congressional Democrats are misreading the mood of their base. On the bright side, if you're ever considered running for Congress, the 2026 Democratic Party primaries are going to be a prime moment for "throw the old guard out" insurgents.

Project 2025 is here Just like we said it would be

Trump comes at you real fast

Dozens of Jan. 6 defendants who received pardons from President Trump had past criminal convictions for charges including rape, manslaughter, domestic violence and drug trafficking.

John Fetterman is one of the worst senators in American history. What a traitor.

This is the GOP’s long con on full display.

Incredible how thoroughly Democrats got played here. Spent four years following through on a Trump executive order, pissed away any shot at building a real youth coalition for 2024 by alienating literally every teenager in America, lost the election, and now Trump gets to "save" TikTok. Clown shit.

"Seriously, I don’t care how much it costs. Take every dime I have. But know this: I would level my house to the ground before I paid slightly higher property taxes to fund infrastructure that would prevent a landslide from leveling my house to the ground."

She has an 80% approval rating. She blows the entire narrative of incumbent parties faltering. Turns out leftist populism is popular. The centrist neolibs who punch left keep us from this in the US.

If you’re not afraid of getting canceled, you fucking coward, why didn’t you let them print your name?

Jewels Sparkles’ confessional look is giving if Inigo Montoya chose to serve cunt.

The largest wildfire in Texas history just happened eleven months ago and destroyed thirty times more area than the one in Los Angeles

Kim Kardashian is a terrible person.

The only minority ruining this world is the billionaires.

The Danish journalists in this thread understand what is happening in America but apparently American journalists do not. They are not so savvy after all.

This is Oxford Uni sharing the Lancet study showing that giving out NHS contracts to private companies is WORSE for patients. The only motive is profit. Anything else is BS designed to sneak this through. www.ox.ac.uk/news/2024-02...

To this day, I will randomly think “all I’ve seen you in for a decade is a red wig and a silver dress” in The Vivienne’s voice. She’s iconic, and will be missed.

Never in my career have I seen such a giant gulf between What Companies Think Is the Most Important Thing in the World and What Normal People Have Absolutely Any Interest in Whatsoever

Streaming in 2010: You can watch an entire catalog of amazing movies and TV shows for a reasonable monthly fee Streaming in 2025: our library is Batman movies and 28 seasons of a Tim Allen sitcom, it costs $159/month. We just destroyed the last piece of evidence that Mister Rogers ever existed

I don't want my fridge to have a camera or Wi-Fi. I don't want my dishwasher to be smart. I don't want my washing machine to text me. In fact, I kinda miss knobs and dials and knowing big appliances would last 20 years and could still be repaired.

I consider myself a smart person who, for the first 10 minutes after waking up, is basically stunned by the trauma of no longer being asleep.
