Hard agree, but we do have to bear in mind that's only the brief part of the day that is the highest temperature and we are still seeing significant cooling at night. With the rising humidity, rain might actually end up being the greater enemy.

Well for that area it is because the winters are pretty brutal and suck. Unfortunatly there is a higher saturation of larps in the east and northeast than the rest of the US so that set the trend for most regions. CA, AZ, NV and TX tend to err towards fall-winter-spring events and skip summer.

The idea being, when I am working- is that less-is-more when it comes to leg padding. Dont add more than you must to get where you want to go and remember that fur adds bulk and diminishes specificity of shape so make your shapes more defined than you think you need to.
