The BBC would do far better reporting on the threats to security in Europe as a result of Trump’s selling out of Ukraine to Putin, than quibbling about the accuracy of Rachel Reeves’ CV by Chris Mason. Just distraction and a pop at Labour. Did they ever fact check Boris Johnson? Like fuck.

So, Wolf Hall then… Surely one of the best TV adaptations ever. The script, the acting, the direction, the lighting and of course the original story itself. The whole cast was brilliant but Mark Rylance as Cromwell was sublime. The performance of a lifetime. This is what we pay our licence fee for.

Listening to interviews about John Prescott from his contemporaries I was struck that no matter what party they represented traditionally men and women entered politics because they wanted to make a difference to people’s lives. Sadly the likes of Trump and Farage are just in it for themselves.

I just paid a quick visit to the other platform. My feed was full of right-wing anti UK Govt rhetoric. MAGA and Musk have emboldened these people to peddle their outright hate fest in Britain. I’m hoping we can make that platform irrelevant soon.
