Apparently he had advanced stage of some kind of cancer, and ran away from the hospital. I think he died that day on the street.

There was a block of meat over the counter completely filled with flies and maggots, almost completely black. The hallway was, literally, shitted everywhere, all the way to the buildings entrance, and on the ground floor elevator, his shitted pants was blocking the elevator door.

He even stopped paying bills, and twice stolen the fuse from my energy board (caught him doing it on the second time). When I last saw him (or traces of him), I saw his front door wide open, right besides mine, and I couldn't see any furniture or even the windows because of the amount of trash.

Once I had a hoarding neighbor that was infesting the whole building with millions of tiny little cockroaches. All 8 floors. This lasted for almost an year, till his wife (which he would throw chairs and shit at her) left, that his health deteriorated rapidly.
