I did this recently with blueskyinbox.com
Then deskvault.app
And today, Bluesky Boost (chromewebstore.google.com/detail/blues...)
All three had UX quirks which made me go "... huh?"

Good lad.
I, uh, opened Bluesky? And replied to this post. That's marketing, right?
... right?

The things that really matter to me here (and you, if you're into this kind of thing?) are:
- immutable transcripts in ~300ms 🤯
- no concurrency limits
- $0.15 per hour
Absolute insanity.

The app lets you view, query, chart and aggregate all of your Stripe data across all of your accounts in one private, fast desktop app. The Stripe dashboard is slow and very poor at multi-account management - pain points DeskVault solves plus a lot more.
Full 0.2.0 release write up coming soon!

Yes! I would love to do something like that if folks were interested.
The main controversy with gitbox was the very crude extrapolation from commits -> estimated hours. Some people absolutely *hated* that, and I get why.

Thank you - I really appreciate the positivity 🙏

Oh, boo, background agents:
- don't work in privacy mode (which I have enabled)
- clone your GitHub repo and need read/write(!)
No thanks - not for now

The not-so-hidden lesson that you - yes YOU - have heard *countless* times before, is that a product is absolutely nothing without marketing. So close your IDE and start shouting about all the awesome stuff you've already built!

$0.0000001 is still REVENUE, damn it!

You should take solace in the fact that your rock bottom is still more than most indie hackers dream of 😀

DeskVault.app
Strongest competitor: probably chartmogul.com or baremetrics.com (though neither are quite the same)

I couldn't imagine *not* using TS. You don't have to go all in at once - valid JS is valid TS - and you can adopt incrementally (although there is a setup cost to transpile code etc). Catches so many bugs I'd otherwise hit at runtime. Better LLM support due to explicit types + object interfaces too.

yeah, I've never gone 'premium' (I should have clarified - I meant aftermarket) either, but I know some people place a *lot* of value on the 'perfect' domain

I don't, no, but I do *sometimes* yearn for a bit more parallelisation (either across projects, or across features within the same project).
I use Cursor with Claude 4 sonnet atm. Pretty happy when I'm just focussing on one thing at a time :)
