Bellara for sure. I did change her with the other 2 for plot reasons or to raise their friendship (bc I learned fights were harder for me if both companions were mages), but otherwise I kept her with me that first pt πŸ’•

I'm happy to report I spoke too soon about The Outer Words πŸ’– Should've guessed it would be part of Xbox's showcase!

Guess the good news is I can go back to my backlog and/or replay games I already have 100s of hours in without missing out on anything new πŸ’–

I'm usually hyped about a bunch of games I'll never play but seem awesome, but this time, I really don't care about these lot of online games that'll probably won't be around a year after launch

What was I hoping for? Maybe The Outer Worlds 2 release date, that rumored Valve game... so to be fair, yeah, I wasn't hoping for much. But still, I'm kinda sad

Watched it, there wasn't anything I'm looking forward to. Sadly. I'm not into multiplayer games or gachas/Genshin Impact-likes, so yeah. Resident Evil 9 was the highlight, which I'm not gonna play but I'll certainly watch a gameplay, so I guess I'm looking forward to one (1) game after all.

DAO. I knew about the game but I didn't play it on launch bc my pc couldn't run it, so I played DAO and DA2 back to back when I was finally able to.

Imma going to wait, it'll be over in like 15 minutes anyway e.Γ©

I'M FREE! Now I don't know if I want to wait until it's over to watch it from the beginning or just jump in now and watch the first part later πŸ€”

Dude State of Play suuuucked. Why would Sony do it the first week of June to showcase TWO of their own games and a bunch of multiplayers from third party studios? Where's the Wolverine game we all know is coming? What's Santa Monica working on? Absolute weird stuff

C, about the same. As in, between him thinking he's right and seeing himself as a villain just so he doesn't need to admit it's a mistake (aka like Varric says), I'm very aware he's a complete idiot, but I was fond of him and still am. In the way that I'm satisfied he got what he deserved, though

Also I wanna point out I played ME2. I knew sending someone away from the group meant there was a chance of death. What I didn't expect was the CERTAINTY of said death 😩

Davrin. Thing is, between my love for Assan and the fact that I was *romancing* Davrin, it was unfortunately easy to choose πŸ™ I'm still mad the choices were between a black elf and the first romanceable dwarf, tbh. I get that wasn't the intention, but there should've been a human in there too imo

Honestly? I think it's left unanswered on purpose so that survival serves the plot. Which is not only smart as a plot device but also makes sense comparing it to our world, since it's essentially a poison... just like some people have greater chances of getting cancer, but at the core it's just luck

I'm fairly sure nobody truly knows. To me Duncan implies some Wardens (including him) believe strong minds/strong-willed individuals are more likely to survive but it's still just conjecture. My memory is not great but I've read all the DAO to DAI codexes and that's what I remember

Can't say it enough, these are really pretty πŸ₯ΊπŸ’• Also yes, I also have the Art of MEA. I'm now only missing the original ME trilogy book πŸ˜„

Now to wait two more years to see Abby's side of the story 😩

Jesse saying he can't die because of his kid on the way πŸ’€

Not me having to pirate it again bc the original audio is gone AGAIN. I'm not watching anything with Spanish dub when I understand the language!

Jesse in this episode's tittlecard... that's rude 😭

Not Blockbuster, but the Colombian equivalent bc it was a lot closer to my home than BB. I actually bought a couple of DVDs from them when they closed.

I find it very ironic that I have a degree in Economics, and one of the things classes taught me is literally this. Goverments should be efficient but they're NOT businesses. And then somehow I see a bunch of other economists (unfortunately USA skewed) completely disagreeing with that. Wtf.

So the plan was: 1) Harass a dev 2) Get critiqued for harassing 3) Cry about #2 by harasing some more Flawless execution, really

DAI was the only one I couldn't finish with a warrior, all of my Inquisitors are rogues or mages. Plus DAI's archer is the most satisfying archer of the franchise for me personally, I looooove the feel
comment in response to post
I gotta mention that while I play mostly rogue in all 4 DAs, and while I liked all 3 classes in Veilguard, the only one who came intuitive to me was rogue. That's the only game where such a big distinction compared to the other two (and tbh mostly just on a vibe scale)
comment in response to post
Wait really? I know most DA players choose mage and with good reason, but is rogue that impopular? I'm getting sidetracked from an important discussion, I'm aware, it's just that rogue has always been my fave class and now I'm curious

I expected a *great* episode bc the Apollo scene is my favorite part of TLOU, and they actually exceded my expectations πŸ˜πŸ’œ

After last night it's almost mandatory* *As if I needed an excuse to rewatch what I consider one of, if not the best, SW movie
comment in response to post
Also, surprising no one, I just hate those plot twists in great part bc I hate kids
comment in response to post
I should rephrase that. Not that the kid is random per se, but that the idea of a secret kid of a dead beloved character is always the most random way to close out a story
comment in response to post
B2 is with Bix, thank goodness 😭😭😭 But the random kid... I guess I get the point, but like, imo that was unnecessary
