As a history buff and a designer, I find this golden beeper trophy with the explosion shaped mount to be super interesting.

Since the topic of power grab is fresh on everyone’s mind, I encourage my fellow Atlantans to educate themselves on what’s happening with the mayor’s proposed changes to the Office of the Inspector General. It was a hot topic in tonight’s NPU D meeting. roughdraftatlanta.com/2025/01/28/a...

Congress Street. Charleston, SC: The house where my grandfather grew up. The porch has a lovely subtle bow to it. Hoping the redevelopment of the upper peninsula discovers the beauty of Congress Street, and this home is restored to its former glory. A family of 9 once flourished here.

Werder Bremen win and Bayern Munich lose today in the DFB Pokal. It’s a good day in my soccer world! #Werder

20+ years of hotel design, and I still find the Atlanta Marriott marquis as one of the most magical hotel lobbies I’ve ever seen. I’m obsessed with 1970’s Atrium hotels. Found this older Bloomberg article by Anthony Paletta that is a nice primer on the subject. www.bloomberg.com/news/feature...

I’m begging the film industry to please make an Indiana Jones-esque movie about this giant cursed emerald that’s been stored in the LA sheriff’s office for 15 years. Could also be a Slow Horse version. Either way you make it, I’m watching! www.washingtonpost.com/world/2024/1...
