Why ban rent control?
Well, with the policies that I'm establishing, rent control is simply a cop-out of the constitutional requirement for the government to foot the bill of those who can't afford rent.
So tax payers don't want to foot the bill? Rent control ain't the solution.

What's nice about these policies is that they also force voters to be careful for what they vote for.
They vote for bad housing policies that stifle new development? The constitution will raise the tax burden for everyone who have jobs and pay rent or mortgage, and even those who are retired […]
