BEEN THERE. One time they took fourteen vials. FOURTEEN. Afterwards I was like. Yeah no I’m gonna need to sit here for a bit. My favorite part is that some of the things they tested for were blood disorders. And I was like, well, now I have “not enough blood” disorder.

Anecdotally, people on r/fednews have said that even replying to the emails with questions — or having an out of office automatic reply — landed them on the list as having accepted offer. More people accepted the offer, and were told afterwards that they’re not eligible.

They said they were expecting it to be 5-10%, and that they wanted it to be higher. This is a whopping 3.2%. Less than is lost for retirement every year.

for decades the federal govt has bent over backwards to limit spending even on totally sensible things like office coffee, all so they can say your tax dollars aren't going to pay for coffee. and it was all for nothing bc elon is tweeting out conspiracy theories about non-existent fraud.

It took a stroke, a triple bypass, and two different kinds of terminal cancer to kill that man. And even then, a few weeks before he died he was still making plans to come skiing near my college.

Randomly select a cash register number out of a hat and whoever was currently checking out got whatever it was for free. Well, it’s our turn, and sure enough it’s time for the game. Now, during the flashing lights and music, they gave the person at the register pom poms to wave around.
