If they want to keep shoving women back into the kitchen, I bet we could find about 75000 ways to put your entire meal in gelatin. Nothing says June Cleaver like pot roast and peas in Jello-O.

Interstate 64 near Louisville, KY. The Resistance is in full swing.

I contacted my representatives today. Over the past 4 weeks, Trump has written executive orders to change the constitution. We move away from the constitution and toward a fascist dictatorship daily. This is not an administration that one should compromise. This is an administration that we fight.

I’m exhausted. Physically and mentally. I go to bed early hoping I’ll be “refreshed” by morning but that doesn’t happen. Mentally I swing between rage and tears. I don’t know how long I can continue like this. Fuck Trump. Fuck Musk. Fuck Vance.

One of the most important websites in America right now.

Almost done! I’ve glue basted the binding down just have to hand sew it down on the backside. I’ll be sending this quilt off later this week to an Ohio State fan.

Clara wants to know — will you be her Valentine? She’s content to sit in your lap, no choccies or jewelry necessary. Finished piecing this Infinite Heart quilt tonight. I’m not gonna kill myself having it complete before V-Day though. #quilting

Thou shalt not spend millions on Super Bowl ads about Jesus when you could’ve used it to feed the hungry.

The gospel according to Saint Mariann

I worked 12 hours of OT on Monday, working another 4 tonight. Was offered another 12 hour OT shift on Friday, my day off. Without that 12 hour shift, I’m at 53 hours for the week. While the money would be nice, and the work easy, I decided not to take it for my sanity.

This is leadership. Thank you Bishop Marianne Edgar Budde, for speaking for those who cannot, or fear to, speak for themselves.

My older tortie loves to make art with toilet paper. This morning she upped her game and decided paper towels were a better medium. Look how proud she is of her work.

Spent the afternoon watching the Eagles and sewing. Took the full game and a bit of the post game to piece and quilt these panels for a pouch.

I hosted my first Saturday Sewcial Club at the library today. I had two people come and learn to sew. We made napkins. Here’s the one pic I managed to get of a finished napkin.

Took a break from working on quilts to whip up a couple napkin pairs. Nice to work on something that didn’t require a whole lotta thinking.

Spent my day off sewing. Making this for an Ohio State alum. Scrappy binding made, grey plaid flannel backing ordered.

I’m a quilter, lapsed needleworker, library worker, and childless cat lady. Looking to connect with likeminded people. Cat tax photos included.

My favorite mini from 2024. I will never regret voting for Kamala. America deserves better than what we got.

Here’s a recent finish — flannel backing makes it so nice to curl up under during these chilly days. #quilting
