This is where you miss out by not following cricket - because the few nations that do are spread across the Northern and Southern Hemispheres, you're never more than a few hours from another match starting.

The screen parting during the showings of the Train Entering the Station at La Ciotat. I'm biased, though. Go to Turin, and the film museum there¹. Astonishing. ¹Also other things.

I know it's silly, but I've already seen a fair bit of promotion for the Tokyo season opener with the Dodgers; while I appreciate that means nothing, it just feels odd that it would built up around a player who was traded.
