Same folks as Blue Olive. Not confirmed but heard the building where Blue Olive is has been sold so not sure what the future holds there.

So I had a 60 day EDU plus trial and it did say I could create a vid and create an assignment with others who weren’t on plus and they could create in vids. I didn’t seem to get that working through.

"Hi Eric, I noticed in your Gemini info you mention the option to share your Gemini prompts. I only see the option to send to gMail or Docs. I am on the advanced version but do not see the option to share with others."

I wouldn’t know the break down in terms of numbers but HRCE spans a wide range geographically. Some students still ride the bus for an hour but I get what you are saying. I don’t envy those making the decisions.

Why not spend the money on developing an app where they can push out information. We have lots of great developers in HRM.

Good to make that distinction. When I see blanket AI statements I just like informing people that it’s everywhere and it’s more than just Chat GPT.

I hear this from time to time but I think we need to consider that even things like closed captions, speech to text, word prediction, translation tools, can be AI so I wonder how anyone can not use it in some form.

Not against any of the ideas per say but I try and use other terms as these still use the brain.

Not saying I agree with using AI in this way but it appears School AI has at least responded to these comments.

Demo’ed School AI to my cohorts this week. Teachers from CSAP, TCRCE, CBVRCE and AVRCE. Hope some will continue to test it and share with the class.

Not disagreeing. Security and back end admin are also factoring in to costs as well.

If the budgets were there I totally agree. I just fear with so many users it’s easy to switch to a paid tier. Much like we are seeing with Google.

I always worry for how long…I know there will always be a free version but seems inevitable things will become paid at some point. But I hope not as it’s such an all in one tool.

As a summer student at Laval (many moons ago) that was our go to. At the time it had instructions and you had to let it sit and ferment, is it still like that?

As I continue to play soccer and have been playing for 45 years plus have kids playing, practicing in gyms is the worst. I’ve also had 3 knee surgeries due to turf (2 from non contact). I too would prefer grass but as you say almost impossible in NS.

OMG, I just randomly started watching Gremlins 2 with one of my kids. It has to be one of the worst movies ever
